Explanation of Manchar lake location:
Manchar Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Pakistan and one of the largest in South Asia. It is located close to Sehwan Sharif and about 18–20 km west of the Indus River, Jamshoro District, Sindh. It is fed by rainwater, hill streams from the Kirthar Mountains, and sometimes by Indus River water. It lies near the right bank of the Indus River, but not directly connected except during high floods.
Formerly, Manchar Lake was part of Dadu District. After administrative changes, the area was shifted to the newly formed Jamshoro District in 2004.
