The first Governor General of Pakistan was Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He served from 15 august 1947 to 11 September 1948.

The third Governor General of Pakistan was Ghulam Muhammad. He served from 17 October 1951 to 6 October 1955.
